DAMNED STATEMENT

Statement

I have the honor of experiencing DAMNED from the lens of a curator/producer and it continues to be a humbling experience. Being able to witness firsts - an artists first time in exhibiting, their first sale art sale, a patrons first art purchase to hearing how an artist making their work helped heal an old wound. I get to witness the performers and musicians combing their talent to make something magical, that can move the crowd to tears, or leave them silent and awestruck, myself included. The generosity of the patrons, artists, performers and staff to help support our charity endeavors and give back a bit to the community around us makes me smile. The amount of energy that the artists, performers, and musicians pour into the event is incredible, and the dedication of time that the volunteers give to help build out the show is appreciated more than I can ever express. I am honored to call everyone involved with DAMNED friends, some I even call my family.
