Statement

It's always been a struggle to find places that are willing to show my work, I'm lucky to have found DAMNED who embraced my work with open arms. The space that Damned has created for artists is special to me but also an important acknowledgment of the darker side of life that is often glossed over in the art world, and society at large. "Coming Down Kills Me" was inspired by my own struggles to get sober. The fear and pain of facing the world without drugs and alcohol. Not being able to numb yourself or stem the wave of feelings that have been ignored for so long.
