Statement

DAMNED as been a show that has made me feel seen. I have always loved dark topics and subject matter, I create art that reflects our relationship with living, struggling, and dying. The closer we are to pain, death, and and our inner darkness, the less power it has. If youre close to the darkness, the less fear you have. I feel that we need art to help us have difficult conversations with others and ourselves and to feel difficult emotions. 2017, 2018, and 2019 have been my journey with DAMNED show, and looking back on my work I see a confidence and self assurance that has helped me grow into a more empowered romani artist.
