DAMNED STATEMENT

Statement

I remember how excited I was the first time I got my acceptance email into The Damned. I had been pining to submit something for years but life circumstances always seemed to be getting in the way. The first year I was accepted was a fiasco; the carrier I had shipped my piece through had damaged the piece, did not tell me about that it had never left my city until just days before the opening night, and there was no way to get it presentable and on location in time. The following year went vastly more pleasantly. That was the year that I sent the Medico della Peste, and it left with to a new home with a buyer who has since periodically left me messages to know how much he still loves it. I have never had the opportunity to personally attend the event, but rest assured that is still on my list.
